Boris Wrubel has dedicated himself for over fifteen years to software testing. Focusing on test automation in agile projects. His professional experience ranges from large-scale projects in the banking and telecommunications industries to the municipal sector.
Alongside these projects, Boris Wrubel has worked in the research group for industrial software (INSO) at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), where he also has organized and holds the academic course “Software Testing”. For several years, he has also taught the seminar series “Presentation and Negotiation” for students of European Economy and Business Management studies at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna (FH BFI Vienna).
He studied Business Informatics specializing in project and quality management at the Vienna University of Technology.
He is a football referee at the Vienna Football Association as well as a Futsal Referee in the Austrian Futsal League. He is interested in IoT and finding creative solutions with a Raspberry Pi (also in testing projects). More and more often he contributes his experience and knowledge to the OpenSource community and enriches meetups and conferences with talks and workshops.
